About
Hi there! I’m Will, a 24 year old guy in Houston. You know, one of those non-stereotypical Texans. I don’t rock boots, don’t own a cowboy hat, and don’t even digg country music. So what kind of Texan am I?
I love technology. User interfaces, social media, the web, and game development is what I’m all about these days. I also love sports, namely soccer and football. I try to play as often as I can. While running, coding, or just chilling around the house, I’m probably going to be listening to music. Now if I’m listening to music, it’ll be coming out of either my Macbook Pro or my iPhone. Yeah, I hear ya: Fanboy-ish. Whatever.
As for that whole occupation thing, I’m a graduate student at the University of Houston. I’m working on a PhD in Computer Science. There isn’t really much to say on this front. School truly is boring, but solving problems is my forte and grad school is all about solving problems. At least that’s what they tell me.
This is the point where I say I want to talk to you, in the most un-stalkerish way possible. Seriously, you’re cool. I’m cool. Let’s be friends. So if you do feel like talking to me, you can always drop a comment on this blog. Or maybe, just maybe, you use this little thing called Twitter so you can follow me there. If all else fails, you can resort to my email: will [at] holtkampw [dot] com.
2!
